BLACKFOX

Blackfox is a ragged tale told in a burned-out brothel behind an abandoned church; folk forms wrapped in wire and soaked in bourbon.  The songwriting and genre experimentation of veteran multi-instrumentalist and seer of visions Stacey Cargal rides on a carpet of sound built by a collection of longtime friends and scene-mates. The band works a mix of garage, blues, gospel and country-inflected songs and pushes them into new sonic territories with aspects of noise and space rock.

"Ranging from hard rocking, almost punk bombast, gentle acoustic driven ballads, and psych-ambient rambles, [Blackfox] delivers an intriguing collection of tunes, each one daring, challenging, and played with the confidence that is developed from years in the trenches. At times as sinister as black metal, but then shifting to more melodic and palatable tone, Blackfox maintains an edge that keeps the listener on edge, while providing an entertaining and satisfying experience.” - Creative Loafing

BOXCAR RADIO

Boxcar Radio rises from the ashes of the cosmic west with alt country/ americana tones that takes one back to days of riding the rails.

THE GOOD GRACES

The Good Graces is an indie-folk collective based in Atlanta, GA. Formed by singer-songwriter Kim Ware in 2006, tGG has performed up and down the east coast, in California, the Midwest, and at such festivals as 30A, NXNE, Athens Pop Festival, and International Pop Overthrow. Their previous album, "Close to the Sun," explored a variety of styles and genres, from folk and alt. country to 90s-inspired indie pop. In 2015, the album caught the attention of the Indigo Girls, and the band was asked by the renowned duo to support some midwest and southeast shows during their summer tour. The new record, "Set Your Sights," marks their 4th full-length collection, and once again places Kim's heart-on-her-sleeve songwriting and earnest, honest lyrical delivery at the forefront of a sonic expedition led by producer / guitarist Jonny Daly and supported by a long list of players from Atlanta and the southeast.
