Artist Bios

Jonah Swilley's music is like 60s rock meets Southern-inspired hip hop- it makes for a very distinct and fun sound! The Atlanta area native credits inspiration from music legends including Outkast, Johnny Cash, and Kurt Cobain. Ever mindful of life's many influences, Jonah strives to create music that positively connects with listeners through shared experiences.

His music doesn't conform to any specific genre, but has a distinct sound once heard. Jonah Swilley is truly an 'artist'--he's a vocalist, rhymer of words, and gifted musician. This multi-talented 20-year-old can play instruments including the guitar, bass, drums, piano, and mandolin. Put on your seatbelt and get ready for a joy ride, Jonah Swilley is the new artist to keep your eye on in 2014

This group of multi-instrumentalists came together in the spring of '06, after some individual successes around the southeastern music scene. The mix of styles - heavy and light, jazz and metal, nice and then nasty - was a welcome addition to the newly revitalized Atlanta rock music scene. The textured recordings are a must-listen, but the exuberant live shows have really become the mark of this explosive quintet.

Sunshine and Bullets is an active rock band with male and female lead vocals, experimenting within the hard rock genre, creating atmospheric hard rock/industrial/progressive/metal with hypnotic harmonies and dark driving groove. They just released a 20 track studio album under the label Melodic Revolution Records. The album, called Triangulum Mechanism, is a collection of all of their recent singles, with many new songs, interludes, and even an instrumental track at the end that was improvised in the studio. One of their tracks was voted “Song of the Year” on the Rock Solid Pressure Show. The band was featured on the Bubba the Love Sponge Show, who said “I find your band one of the most brilliant bands I’ve heard in 28 years of radio.” They have performed at Rockwave, 97X Backyard BBQ, Ink Life Tour, Rock the Park, and Zombiecon, opening for such acts as Imagine Dragons, The Used, Stone TemplePilots (with Chester Benington), Chevelle, Anberlin, Jane's Addiction, Filter, Foxy Shazam, Falling In Reverse, Middle Class Rut, Civil Twilight, Saving Abel, Framing Hanley, Eye Empire, Cinder, Days of the New, John Rzeznik of the Goo Goo Dolls, Stroke 9, Smile Empty Soul, Local H, Adema, Eye Empire, and more.
