THE VINYL SUNS
The Vinyl Suns are a rowdy bunch to say the least. The four youngsters started playing together during the summer of 2015 in Athens, GA. Their unapologetic love for the blues, rock n' roll, and funky grooves makes it feel like that raw seventies' sound found its way back to the 21st century. Don't let the cover of the book fool you because when these amigos hit the stage and turn on the power, you're in for one hell of a good time.
In the short time since their formation, there's no question that they've proven themselves. Having solidified their name in their hometown, the classic city of Athens, and then earned their respect in Atlanta, the Vinyl Suns have continued to cause waves in the south-east. For this band, the future looks exciting, and the sky is the limit.
MILLTOWN ROAD BAND
Focusing on Classic rock and Southern Rock the band has quickly become a crowd pleaser. MTR is energetic, enertaining and always fun.
THE LONGSHOT SAINTS
Timothy O’Donovan hails from a small town on Florida’s gulf coast. His family’s rural, working class environment and meager existence offered little hope in escaping a blue collar fate. So meager, his parents enlisted the help and generosity of family and neighbors for help when Timothy contracted a near fatal case of meningitis at age 6. Though not expected to survive, Timothy’s young heart wanted to fight. And fight he did. This fight set in motion a pattern which would repeat itself throughout his life, seemingly insurmountable tragedies, and a mysterious ability to overcome them.
Though financially strapped, his household never lacked love or music, the latter of which Timothy showed an early affinity for. With his parents’ encouragement, Timothy began to develop an eclectic & vast musical identity. Upon falling in love with rock and roll, at the age of 9, Timothy asked his father for an electric guitar. Financially unable to purchase and with suspicion that it was just a faze he would soon grow out of, Timothy inherited a battered, nearly unplayable acoustic guitar. His father was shocked when the youngster played him four songs a mere three days later. Not to break his promise, Timothy’s father worked hard for many months so Timothy may receive his dream guitar by Christmas morning.
As he grew, Timothy unfortunately realized he was a bit of an odd ball and found it increasingly hard to fit in with his peers. It was this “outsider” roll that began to fuel his passion for songwriting. He found a kinship in the music of the singer/songwriter heroes of the day. He preferred to seek his own voice and writing style lifted directly from his life experiences, failures, and subtle triumphs.
Want to know the mystery behind the man? His stories? His heart? Listen to his music, his voice... there lies the key. Though some say the mystery is how he puts the lyrics together to create the story. Or should we say that’s just his mastery?
HOUSE OF THOMAS
HOUSEOFTHOMAS, aka “HOT” is a full tank of energy blazing a live show that fills every crowd with excitement! Founded and fronted by singer/ songwriter/ guitarist Robbie Lee, the band carries a polished, mainstream rock/pop sound filled with incredible hooks and melodies that keep everyone wanting more! Other members of the band include drummer Eric Chapman, bassist Mick Van Buskirk, and guitarist Christopher Lee.
In June, 2012 HOUSEOFTHOMAS released their sophomore project entitled “A New Day Is Now” featuring the single hit release “Find Me”. The 6 song EP produced by CR Pendleton, with guest appearances by Scotty Wilbanks (Third Day), Brian Bunn (DecembeRadio), and Josh Lovelace (Needtobreathe), carries an inspiring message of hope inside a driving, upbeat class of music. Influenced from such diverse artists as Bon Jovi to U2 and Keith Urban to Steven Curtis Chapman, HOUSEOFTHOMAS will most certainly capture your attention.
In February 2013 the band recorded and released an independent single cover of “Still Haven’t Found” by U2. They captured the unique and earthy nature of HOUSEOFTHOMAS’ acoustic tone, and playing off of the band’s vocal harmonies. (The song is currently available as an iTunes exclusive download.) Beginning in 2011, the band partnered with Truett’s Pizza Café (Chick-fil-A subsidiary) and began performing acoustic performances on a weekly basis, which helped turn the eclectic restaurant into a weekend favorite hangout. The band still performs here on a regular occurrence.
In the beginning of 2013, HOUSEOFTHOMAS was approached with a very unique opportunity to partner with an organization called Motor Raceway Outreach and become one of NASCAR’s feature entertainment shows at multiple super speedway race tracks. The guys perform three-hour concerts Friday and Saturday nights for the NASCAR fans that stay overnight throughout these race event weekends. They also lead a worship service the following Sunday mornings, which allows the guys the opportunity to meet and socialize with the fans.
Since the group's genesis in 2003, HOUSEOFTHOMAS has continued to prove themselves in front of audiences and judges alike. Early in their career they won multiple battle of the bands competitions including a 5 week winning streak on an Atlanta broadcasted top 20 radio station by popular listener vote. They have performed with such legendary artists as MercyMe, Third Day, Jeremy Camp, DecembeRadio, as well as many others.
