Whiskey kickin' female fronted rock: Lynnay Della Luce, Amy Epperley and Hunter Cook are a powerhouse trio bringing you hard rock riffs with catchy hooks.

Slumberjack hits the road for their Oddly Calm tour while continuing to turn out a style of rowdy whiskey drinking somber sounds mixed in with melodies that linger. Slumberjack delivers a powerful, unique sound that is refreshing to the senses.

Slumberjack has kept to their unique style influenced by bands such as Colour Revolt, Pile and Desaparecidos, while often drawing comparisons to Modest Mouse and Bear vs. Shark. Oddly Calm is the follow up to Slumberjack’s well received EP Black Lodge that made it’s rounds in the press and introduced the band to a growing throng of fans.

Since forming after a marathon Cinco de Mayo bash, LJ3 has been performing all over Atlanta as an “Acoustic Trio with Electric Tendencies” on stages ranging from intimate local watering holes to the huge crowds of Wild Bill’s. They pride themselves on being adored by audiences across the board. Whether it’s Classic Rock or Modern Classics, Country versus Rock ‘n’ Roll, or even refreshing originals, LJ3 has something to tickle any music lover’s fancy. It’s all about Good Music & Good Times!

So who is LJ3…

Bobby Z (guitar/vox) originally hails from New England, but is now a solid piece of the Atlanta music scene. Not only is he the gritty guitarist and vocalist for LJ3, he also performs as a solo artist, as half of the acoustic duo, 2 on the Loose, and as part of the progressive rock trio, Watch Pocket! As if that weren’t enough, Bob has also teamed up with legendary “voice guy,” Rich Van Slyke, who produced and joined in on two cover songs, “Stuck in the Middle” and “Beer Drinkers.” Bob brings a dynamic rock ‘n’ roll vibe to LJ3 with his warm vocals and layered guitar looping.

Jim (percussion) started performing with Bob as members of the Atlanta area band Brothers Belvedere, and they’ve been playing together ever since. In addition to LJ3, Jim also performs in a David Bowie tribute band, Jerome Newton, as well as the innovative space rock band, Space Seed, who co-headlined the 2014 & 2015 Sonic Rock Solstice in Wales! Jim brings a diverse collection of tones and rhythms to LJ3 that guarantee rocking vibes for all.

LJ (vox/guitar) started out singing harmonies for a Contemporary Christian Rock band, but quickly started booking her own gigs around the Southeast as a solo artist. She has performed such events as the Florida Music Festival and opened up for Colin Hay of Men at Work and Pat Dinizio of The Smithereens. This led to being featured on the home page of and the release of her 5-song EP, produced by Clay Cook of The Marshall Tucker Band and John Mayer. LJ rounds out this trio with sugar, spice, and a dash of something nice!
